Welcome to your new school

On behalf of all of the staff at Liverpool Education Employment Partnership (LEEP), I would like to welcome all of our students to the school.

LEEP has been created to ensure that students that have not been meeting their potential in a mainstream setting, have another chance of being successful in education. At LEEP we will blend high quality teaching of English Language, English Literature, Mathematics and Science Trilogy GCSEs with opportunities to engage with local and national employers. We do not treat these aspects as separate, but ensure that the employer engagement activities contextualise the academic studies and are woven through the curriculum as a constant theme.

We recognise that employers are looking for academic qualifications, but also the skills that will allow a student to be successful in their workplace, such as communication, adaptability, resilience, creativity, leadership and problem-solving skills. We will develop students’ competencies and record their progress through ‘The Prince’s Trust Level 2 diploma in Personal Development and Employability Skills’. This qualification will allow students to evidence the array of experiences and accomplishments that they have gained working across our range of business partners.

We want every student who joins LEEP to have a fresh start and grasp this opportunity, making full use of all of their skills and abilities to reach their full potential in education and open up opportunities for their future.
