I am delighted to say that Liverpool Education Learning Partnership (LEEP) will be based in what was originally Parklands school. The new school, which caters for Key Stage 4 students (year 10 and 11), opens to students on the 9th September 2019. The school will take up to 35 students in it’s first year and will blend academic studies with an extensive work-based learning programme. Student’s academic studies will wrap around their work-based learning experiences, giving them the skills they need to succeed in a dynamic job market.
The school site is already a hive of activity as minor alterations are made to the building to ensure it is fit for purpose and a new ICT system is put in place to allow students to stay at the cutting edge of technological advancements.
An exciting range of employers have already committed to supporting the school, either through being part of the career carousel, mentoring students or offering longer term work placements.
